A little about me.

I am a trainee play therapist with a deep commitment to supporting children’s emotional wellbeing through the healing power of play. Alongside my therapeutic training, I work within a primary school setting, where I have extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of social, emotional, and developmental needs.

My approach is grounded in child-centred, non-directive play therapy, where I provide a safe, accepting, and consistent space for children to express themselves freely. I believe that play is a child’s natural language, and through it, children can explore feelings, process experiences, and develop resilience at their own pace.

I am particularly passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with the children I work with. I strive to create an environment where each child feels seen, heard, and valued without judgement. My work is guided by key therapeutic principles, including empathy, respect, and a belief in each child’s capacity for growth and self-understanding.

As part of my practice, I engage in ongoing professional development and regular clinical supervision to ensure that I am providing the highest standard of care. I work collaboratively with parents, carers, and schools where appropriate, while always maintaining a strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.

My goal is to support each child in developing greater confidence, emotional regulation, and a stronger sense of self, helping them to navigate their world with increased security and wellbeing.
